Announcements

The 2019 Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOA's) are now published and live! The FOA's spell out the requirements of applying for and carrying out an ANA grant. The following funding opportunities are now available:

  1. Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance (P&M)
  2. Native American Language Preservation and Maintenance - Esther Martinez Immersion (EMI)
  3. Social and Economic Development Strategies (SEDS)
  4. Environmental Regulatory Enhancement (ERE)
  5. Social and Economic Development Strategies for Alaska (SEDS-AK)

Applications are due April 15, 2019 (please note that this date is subject to change; refer to Grants.gov for all official updates). You can get started by downloading the FOA's from www.grants.gov.  If you’re not certain about which FOA to apply for, you can read descriptions of the three main program areas on the Grants.gov website. In addition, while there you are encouraged to check out the resources page, including the Pre-Application Training Manual, which helps applicants with “nuts and bolts” information on the federal application process and ANA FOA's.
